I lost one of my closest friends two weeks ago. One week I visited her in the hospital and we talked about going to Panama City and seeing the white sand beaches again. Then the following week she was gone. The pain of losing someone that close to you leave wounds. I know they heal but right now they are exposed and raw.
I see now that life isn’t promised but fleeting like the wind that blows. I’m examining my life and determined to enjoy it as much as possible.
My family is extremely important. However, instead of visiting or calling when I get the chance, I purpose to do it sooner than later.
