How do you overcome and survive the loss of two people within two weeks of each other? No matter who you are pain is evitable. It doesn’t discriminate or care about your financial or social status in life. It’s like an unwanted visitor who knocks at your door and you pretend you aren’t home. Pain doesn’t care it will bombard it’s way through the closed door until it finds a place to camp.
I have refused to let pain take up permanent residence. The best thing to do is to keep yourself busy with things that you enjoy. Mine are reading and writing.
It’s a new month and Spring is not to far away. I inhaled the freshness of a new day.
I turn my face upward to the sky. The warmth of the sun creates a brightness in my spirit. Pain? I know that this too shall pass.
