When not daydreaming or writing about a romantic heroes and heroines, Renee spends her time reading, traveling and taking care of the great loves in her life, her husband and son.  Married to her hero, her college sweetheart, she uses him as inspiration for her strong silent-type heroes. For he’s truly an alpha male.

Since a small child, she has been an avid reader and daydreamer.  With stories, flashing through her head, she knew she should put these stories on paper.

She began keeping a journal at seven. Renee wrote her first play in a 9th grade creative writing class called, Masquerade. Now and then she pulls out it and mulls over how far she has come.

One of the first books she read was I Know Why the Cage Bird Sings.  A book that changed her life and stirred up the desire to really write.

A classmate gave her the first romance book, a Harlequin romance, in a 10th grade Biology class.  Since then, she has been hooked.  She writes multi-cultural romances and murder mysteries novels. She feels that these genres cover all of her creative flows.

Renee started taking writing seriously in 2007. She attended the Philadelphia Writers Conference and submitted pieces of her work for critique.

The feedback was critical in helping her to make a decision to pursue a career in writing. The following year, Renee decided to try her hand at a full-length novel and the rest is history.

She’s a member of the Valley Forge Chapter of Romance Writers of America and she’s currently working on many more stories to share with you.
